Sunday, April 28th from 2-3 pm
Workshop lead: Lisa Steele
Learn what Terra Sigillata is, how it is used in pottery and as part of a Raku process and how to apply it to your own pottery.
Finished Raku pieces will be shown and then we will demonstrate how to apply it to a bone dry piece of greenware and shine the surface through a variety of different techniques.
Members can bring their own pieces to try using the technique after the workshop or can use the terra sigillata that will be left in the studio.
